Rashid Mahar brings over a decade of exceptional legal expertise to the forefront of Pakistan’s legal landscape. A highly accomplished advocate admitted to practice before the High Courts, Rashid holds a Master of Laws (LLM) from BPP University, London, complemented by a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from the University of London. His academic foundation, enriched with specialized modules underpins his versatile approach to complex legal challenges.

With a career that spans some of Pakistan’s most prestigious law firms, Rashid has cultivated a reputation for excellence in both contentious and non-contentious matters. His journey includes significant tenure at Haidermota & Co. where he rose from Associate to Associate Partner within a short span of time. Rashid also worked at Kabraji & Talibuddin, Hussain & Haider, and Mumtaz & Associates. Rashid’s portfolio boasts representation of global giants and his strategic acumen shines in high-stakes cases, from securing interim injunctions against multi-million-dollar tax demands to navigating intricate arbitration proceedings.

Shaharyar Mahar

Shaharyar Mahar, a seasoned advocate and Barrister-at-Law, brings a wealth of legal expertise and a steadfast commitment to excellence to our firm. With a distinguished career spanning over a decade, he has represented the Province of Sindh as Additional Advocate General since October 2017, adeptly handling complex civil litigation in areas such as services law, rent and contract disputes, and issues involving the Sindh Building Control Authority, Karachi Development Authority, and revenue matters. His strategic approach to pre-trial practice, legal research, and negotiations has consistently delivered favorable outcomes, including settlements and high-value arbitration awards. Shaharyar’s academic foundation, with a Bar Professional Training Course and an LLB (Hons.) from the University of Buckingham, underscores his deep knowledge of law, further enhanced by his active membership in the Sindh and Karachi Bar Councils.
Prior to his current role, Shaharyar honed his skills at RIAA Law, where he advised prominent clients including multi-national companies. His earlier tenure at Mushtaq A. Memon Advocates and Legal Consultants saw him excel in drafting legal documents, conducting thorough case law research, and advising clients on civil and criminal proceedings.
